Our goal is to provide value through great design, and with that foster a lasting relationship with each client. Owners, Tenants and Contractors often have different objectives. The team of Architects and Engineers at Tectonics will organize and merge those objectives into a comprehensive design concept. And, just as importantly, we will follow that concept with thorough, well thought out drawings and proactive support during construction.
Tectonics Design Group's Civil Engineering staff often starts with a blank canvas, providing preliminary planning and due diligence as part of the site selection process. Once a site is selected, Tectonics can shepherd a project through planning and zoning, mapping/platting, and ultimately to a final design that is ready for bid. Close collaboration with both in-house design disciplines and outside consultants produces well-conceived construction drawings that not only make sense economically, but reflect functionality throughout the lifespan of the building.
Tectonics' leadership long ago realized that technical expertise is only one component of being effective as a structural engineer. Our considerable experience in vertical construction has led to the emphasis that constructability, creativity, collaboration, and communication are of equal importance.
