Although we pride ourselves on quality and performance, we also provide consultation on developing generic product specifications, creating private labeled goods that are shopped to various manufactures to find the best product for the best price for project budgeting.
We also digest and project piece mill time lines to complete our scope of work. This enables us to adjust to be flexible when project time frames are determined by the general contractor. Our experience has privileged Carpets of America to partner with many builders in achieving successful project completions. Our goal is, and always has been, to establish and maintain long term relationships.
A large design firm sometime ago asked Carpets of America to assist them in teaching a large group of new neophyte young architect employees how carpets were made and how to choose carpets they should select for a great number of schools their firm had been contracted to the specifications for. With our experience on which type of commercial products would be most appropriate we brought six carpet samples to display at our presentation. Each sample had been constructed to the same specification we had written for each manufacturer.
Since Carpets of America is not geographically bound we don't always have local showrooms in every location we contract; however, we do have a showroom in the Reno/Sparks location. One method we offer is to have the manufactures ship display material for project sales office upgrades, we then price mark our samples and provide selection sheets for builder salesmen. We partner profits with builders who's staff make the on site selection. We also require the manufacturer of the base grade products to maintain a predetermined color selection be held in stock in their west coast shipping facilities to ensure no missed closings.
