Shane Keplinger, AIA NCARB BECxP - is licensed to practice architecture in multiple states. Shane leads the KPE Architectural and Structural Departments and also serves as manager of the A&E Design Services Group. Associate Principal - is licensed to practice Electrical Engineering in 12 states.

KPE personnel are skilled at planning/designing renovations or new structures, tenant improvements and completing facility modernization for retail, business, restaurant, office, churches and other commercial clients. Our staff includes registered architects and licensed mechanical, electrical and structural engineers. KPE designers are also forensic engineering experts - we use lessons learned from investigating construction defects and the design errors of others to maximize KPE designs. KPE professionals see the big picture; yet focus on the tiny details to help building owners create sensible environments that work as intended.

KPE personnel's system experience includes: electricity, gas, fuel oil, steam, hot water, chilled water, geothermal water, compressed air, hydraulics, and specialty systems like hospital gases, sanitary and storm sewer systems. Other systems for which we have expertise include cyclone and bag-house dust collection systems, multi-zone and high-velocity transport systems, heat exchangers/converters, radiant and solar heating systems, thermal storage systems, boilers, chillers, air compressors, pumps, air-handlers, cogeneration systems, thermal oxidizers, telecommunication systems, fire protection systems, and renewable energies such as ground source heat pumps.
