WA is an architecture and design company on the north side of Chicago in the Ravenswood neighborhood. We have decades of experience in designing everything from kiosks to kilns, from patisseries to car dealers, from university spaces to your space. Mr. Waechter has nearly thirty years experience in building design and construction. After serving in the US Army for four years, he moved to Chicago and began work as a carpenter for LR Development building residences, condominiums and small commercial structures. His hard work, building acumen and diligence earned him a role as a construction supervisor on many sites. While in this capacity he earned both undergraduate and Masters' degrees in Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

WA has worked in some of the most iconic buildings in the city of Chicago, including the Rockefeller Chapel, and Willis Tower. WA provides full architectural services to municipalities, institutions, commercial and residential clients. We take a holistic approach to the design and construction of the built environment in that all aspects of a job (scope, design intent, budget and schedule) must be considered during all phases of a project. Solutions are generated to meet the clients' needs; these may be design solutions or a creative construction approach along with a rigorous QA/QC program.
