Open Doors is an emergency homeless shelter located in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County, Virginia. Each week, the shelter is located at a different faith community. Not only do these faith communities provide the space, but also countless volunteer hours, meals, snacks and more. One of the most important things that these volunteers offer is a sense of community, fellowship and connection to those in our community who are often forgotten, ignored and overlooked. Open Doors Shelter (formerly known as HARTS) is open for 22 weeks a year, from November to April, from 6:30pm to 7:00am daily and has 40 beds available for men and women over the age of 18.

We hope you'll spend this cold weekend with us as we worship together on Sunday, January 31, at 11 a.m. on our YouTube channel. Interim Senior Pastor Christy Dowdy will share a message on being "Astounded" and several people will give reflections on what has "astounded" them during this pandemic. Worship bulletins can be found on our church website (bwcob.org). See you Sunday!
