BEE Consulting, LLC (BEE) has been providing Building Envelope Consulting for over 20 years all over the Puget Sound region, and beyond. The BEE Team is a group of licensed professional engineers, energy consultants, CAD drafters, experienced construction consultants and highly qualified window and air barrier testing technicians. BEE provides a "one stop shop" approach to building envelope design and quality assurance. This means we provide a full building envelope design from a waterproofing and air barrier standpoint, as well as the energy analysis (which includes Third Party Verification of "Built Green", "Energy Star", and "HERS" projects) and specific permit details required by the local jurisdiction.
Construction phase inspections play a key role in Quality Assurance observations during the construction phase. We augment the contractor's continuous Quality Control plan. Attention to these five areas of professional development helps the project team succeed in the construction phase challenges and complexities. Costly rework and potential water/air leaks can be avoided by timely focused inspections that are followed through by the builder to restore the deficient condition to an acceptable state if they occur.
