Before that extensive boatyard experience in construction, design and management dating back to 1966. That is real, hands on, boatbuilding and repair experience. Our parent company, Marine Technical Services, Incorporated, also provides services boatyards including project management, project planning, quality assurance, design and engineering.

Marine Technical Services, Incorporated is an expert in small craft construction, modification, and repair. The company evolved from Mr. Heasley's employment as the Director of Engineering at a boat manufacturer in Washington State building commercial, work, and government boats. In that position it was necessary to not only design and engineer the vessel, but to provide construction management and quality assurance support to the manufacturing process. In following years that knowledge was used to support boat builders with the same services, as well as expand into the marine survey trade to inspect and evaluate existing vessels as well as new construction.

Our surveyor will inspect the vessel to determine the specific condition of the vessel, and will appraise the boat owner of all his findings at the time of the survey. The survey is documented in a Survey Report which includes fair market and replacement values for the vessel. Condition surveys cover the overall structure of the vessel and systems installations. Condition surveys do not cover internal condition of the engine(s). Inspection of the vessel to determine the cause of the damage, and will determine the extent of the damage caused by the casualty.

Pacific Marine Surveyors provides numerous consulting services for boat owners, boat builders and repair facilities. All consulting services are provided under specific contract with contract requirements and rates tailored to the clients needs. Providing repair guidance for difficult repair problems for the boat owner and repair facility. Single project support for the boat owner or builder, providing project oversight and guidance for new construction or major vessel refitting when delivery time and/or budget are critical.
