It is an unbelievable sixty years since the writer, Harold Harris and Tony Slota started Mason Industries with Pat Lama joining ten years later. Unfortunately, both Harold and Tony are gone and Pat retired. So at the young age of ninety-three, I continue to run the company with Doug Valerio's help. Sixtyyears of continuity and ownership. We offer our thanks to every contractor and manufacturer who forms our customer base. We believe they favor us because of the practicality of our designs and lower installed cost when product works the first time.
Our Riverbank Test Data demonstrates that a four-inch thick concrete floor floating on neoprene mounts improves the STC by 25 if raised two inches and that the INR goes up by 44. Tests using our lower frequency LDS mounts would add to these tremendous improvements. Remember, the air gap is the isolator, the jack-screw lifts the floor to achieve it, and the resilient LDS element supports the weight while working in parallel with the air. We have been floating floors, resiliently suspending ceilings and isolating walls for close to 45 years.
TYPE "C" Spring Mountings provide a packaged solution to troublesome vibration problems. Since the static deflection of the spring element is much greater than that provided by most rubber materials, these units will perform where it is necessary to establish low natural frequencies or to use a mounting that is more yielding than the supporting floor. Type "C" mountings are specifically designed for noise and vibration free application in critical areas on light concrete or wooden floors. Semi-circular Neoprene sponge inserts limit movement during start and stop and prevent contact between the projections of the upper and lower semi-steel castings.
Mason Industries has complete control over the quality of our Vibration Control Products from step 1 in our manufacturing process. Straight from our Factory in Hauppauge, NY..to our incredible network of Wholesale distributors..t o our skilled Contractor customers and installers, we do our best to...
