Over 32 years of serving Austin and the Central Texas area, Mid-State Insulation was founded by John and Eleanor McClaferty in 1981 and remains a family owned business today. John and Eleanor were well respected business owners and remained leaders in the industry until retirement in 2007. Chuck and Diana McClaferty have operated the business since then. Chuck has over 37 years experience in the insulation field, performing job estimates and assisting in executive management. Diana has over 30 years experience in executive administration, book-keeping and office management operations.
Mid-State Insulation specializes in HVAC and Plumbing Insulation. We are a union contractor that hires highly trained and skilled employees. We take great pride in our quality work from the most intricate detail to specialized needs. Our completed projects consists of educational facilities, water and waste water facilities, federal, state and local government buildings, hotels, condos, the semiconductor industry, healthcare facilities, restaurants and office buildings. Our contracts range from a few hundred dollars up to a million dollars.
