Longtime Blue Springs, Mo., residents Greg Carrico and Rob Childs founded the company in 1994 focusing only on custom edge-veneer tops. Shortly after that, Steve Carrico and Kevin Spartz joined the company and the original ownership group was complete. As business grew, Double C expanded the countertop line options and also began adding to the list of provided services.
