July 2010 - Custom Woodcraft Builders has been contracted to design a 4,200 square foot hybrid home timber frame home on 128 acre setting of woods, pond and ravines in Martinsville, Indiana. The project is fast tracked with the goal to be ready for construction this fall. The timber frame will be made of oak - some of which will be logged from the client's property. February 2010 - Custom Woodcraft Builders has been contracted to design a log home on Lake Sweetwater in Brown County, Indiana. The home will be 3,200 square feet on five wooded acres of lake front property with a separate oversized garage and walkout basement.
Custom Woodcraft has partnered with the long time timber framers of The Beamery based in Whitestown Indiana. Custom Woodcraft is the exclusive wholesaler of The Beamery frames which are sold all over the country. All frames are handcrafted by local artisans creating only the finest traditional mortise and tenon joinery from a variety of wood species. All lumber/logs are purchased wholesale and milled in our lumber yard. Custom Woodcraft also offers complete turn-key construction and general contracting of the entire project.
