Kistler & Knapp lined up a collection of outstanding subcontractors to tackle several pressing home projects for us. I was impressed with the prompt, professional and friendly communication with Doug and then with each of the subs he brought on board. The subs collaborated well with each other, did beautiful work and paid impressive attention to small details along the way!

Kistler & Knapp is one of the best builders in this area. They are able to maintain the highest quality workmanship while always being respectful of the clients needs and budgets. They do a wonderful job helping their clients navigate the confusing and sometimes overwhelming process of home remodel and construction. Working with K&K is alway a good experience as they work hard to have all the correct information and the site ready for us to be productive and efficient. This is in regards to a recent major project that is just about completed: new addition and renovation to existing house structure. After interviewing and researching construction companies for over one year, (recommended to us by our architects), and rejecting all of them, we met with K&K Builders and were impressed from the first meeting on. The professionalism with which we were met was beyond impressive, starting with the way two of the most senior company members introduced themselves, to the presentation of how a project is managed and operated by K&K. We have done previous major renovations to our house before, but never experienced such transparency in accounting and billing with any contractor or builder. Our project was assigned its own project manager on site: once the project started, the project manager was on site EVERY SINGLE DAY, all day, overseeing and orchestrating the work efficiently and expertly. The project manager himself who was on the premises from April 2016-December 2016, is one of the most professional, trustworthy and pleasant people we ever worked with. Every single sub contractor we worked with was outstanding in work ethics, work quality and professionalism. It is truly amazing to see that a construction company is able to operate at such an exalted level of attributes. We are beyond pleased and wish to shout our experience from the roof top. We are also available for direct contact if more information is needed. There are lots of bad stories out there in relation to builders and contractors, that is why we feel it is so important to share our experience.
