Expertly joining the homeowner's dreams with the architect's design intent, Merz Construction brings a strong sense of collaboration, a keen ability to listen and a commitment to building excellence to every project. An award-winning custom home builder, we've been crafting high quality homes throughout Greater Boston since 1986. We are active partners with clients and architects throughout the process of designing and building a custom home. Our experience, resourcefulness, careful planning and attention to detail are essential components to making sure we deliver a successful finished product.
Merz Construction is an award-winning custom home builder specializing in high-end residential construction. Since our founding by Jonathan Merz in 1986, we have partnered with dozens of architects to build some of the finest homes in Greater Boston. Jonathan believes in fostering a collaborative and team-based culture where all voices are heard and clients always come first. We are your advocates, always looking out for your best interests. We are your advisors, providing you and the design team with information, ideas and recommendations.
Merz Construction has over 30 years of custom homebuilding experience and a wealth of satisfied customers. Our seasoned team works seamlessly with your architect to bring your vision to life. Building a custom home is an exciting undertaking. Instead of working within the limits of an existing building, you get to design a home that is uniquely suited to your lifestyle. We are experts when it comes to the means and methods of construction and have found that to be an asset during the design development phase.
Jonathan Merz has worked as a custom builder, restoring, renovating and constructing thoughtfully designed spaces, for more than 30 years. Prior to starting Merz Construction in 1986, Jonathan was a professional boatbuilder and gained extensive experience in architectural millwork and finish carpentry. Today, we are respected for the quality craftsmanship of the high-end residential homes we build. Jonathan's deep understanding of each element involved in residential construction, reverence for New England's vernacular architecture and passion for the challenges posed by more contemporary styles underpin our focus on building custom homes.
Our focus is on custom, high-end residential construction projects. Quality, craftsmanship, outstanding customer service, honesty and communication are the keys to our success. Merz Construction, Inc., is an equal opportunity employer. We are always eager to meet motivated, talented individuals. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package. If you are looking to join our team, we encourage you to send your resume and a cover letter explaining why you would like to work with us to info@merzconstruction.com.
