We opened our doors in 1978 as Vasona Shade & Drapery Shoppe, and for many years served our customers from 749 Madison Street (Eugene). Ralph and Bonnie Matteson purchased the business from the founder in 2005 after going through a 15-month evaluation and training period.

Hunter Douglas Vignette Modern Roman Shades are a contemporary alternative to the Roman Shade. With the fabric covered headrail you can choose between a concealed look to minimize view obstruction or retain the soft flowing stack when raised. In a variety of fabrics you can complement almost any dcor. The Tailored flat fold comes in a 6″ size. Most rectangular windows can be covered in addition to specialty shapes of arches, angles trapezoids and quarter circles. The cordless LiteRise lift system is available as an option to the EasyView continuous cordloop.

Our wood blinds are true wood products. There will be variations in color, grain and texture that are characteristics of real wood, but you'll surely appreciate the beauty of our natural woods. LiteRise cordless lift system, standard cordlock or remote motorized PowerTilt systems are available. Fixed slats in a variety of shapes, including quarter-circle, arch, circle, oval, hexagon, octagon, angle, and triangles. Moveable slats in angles and with cutouts. Ralph's notes: Quality wood blinds are generally not affected by Willamette Valley weather conditions.
