Tahoe Solar Designs has been designing and installing solar energy solutions since 2001. We have installed over 400 kW of solar electricity and 3000 square feet of solar hot water collectors. Tahoe Solar Designs provides a unique assessment of your location and energy needs and builds this into a custom design for your solar system. In cooperation with the American Solar Energy Society, Tahoe Solar Designs leads a segment of the National Solar Tour in the Lake Tahoe area. These tours are on the first Saturday of October each year.

These systems are designed to be efficient in extremely cold weather - no freezing - just plenty of hot water. You can combine this system with your hot water heater or combine it with an instantaneous hot water heater.
