Between washing the dishes, showering, brushing your teeth, and washing your clothes, you use a lot of water each day. You may take your drains for granted, but what happens when the drains clog and start to back up? The first thing you should do is call a drain cleaning specialist. Two Men and a Snake is the drain cleaning service you need. Many people think that drains are always a simple problem to fix. While this is true a lot of the time, sometimes your drains have larger problems than a simple hairball.
Plumbing pipes are well-known for developing troublesome clogs that disrupt homeowners' lives. Sometimes these clogs are close to the drain and can be removed with little effort. But for deeper or hardened-on clogs, your best option may be drain jetting. At Two Men and a Snake, we are known for thorough and lasting jetting services in Omaha, NE. Rather than spend time trying to dislodge a clog with a simple snake, you can use drain jetting to get a thorough clean. We use a camera before and after the jetting so you can see the difference our services make for your pipes.
Whether a recent storm made it clear you need a second sump pump or you want to make sure your sump pump will do its job the next time a storm comes around, call Two Men and a Snake. As a locally owned and family-run business in Omaha, NE, we understand the importance of having a sump pump that operates as it should. A sump pump sits in a pit at the lowest point of your basement. The sump pump turns on when the water collected from the space around the foundation of your home reaches a certain level and then pumps the water safely away from your home.
Dear Two Men and a Snake: What are the key questions to ask for installing a water heater? We are replacing our 40-gallon gas water heater with a new one. The old one is still working, but it is about 15 years old. We are contacting three or four plumbers for prices and want to ask the appropriate questions and get the work done that we need done. Answer: Most tank water heaters last eight to 12 years on average before they start to wear out-typically that's indicated by them leaking-so it's great that you're proactive in replacing yours before it breaks down and causes water damage or leaves you stranded in a cold shower.
Two Men and a Snake, Inc. understand that not all plumbing problems are easy and simple to fix. Sometimes more is required to get to the pipe that is causing issues or even to install new pipes. This might require that excavation is needed to gain access to your underground or outdoor pipes. Two Men and a Snake, Inc. are expert, efficient, and speedy at getting this accomplished with the least amount of mess. Some reasons that we might need to excavate is mostly to do with inaccessible pipes. However, that doesn't stop these underground pipes from having problems.
We are currently looking for quality service technicians to perform residential and commercial plumbing work. Out technicians are paid by the hour, not by the job, creating a team atmosphere where staff and customers come first.

Do not recommend. Upcharged for new drain assemblies that were not defective. My wife was told by 2-Men that the drains needed to be replaced. They removed a quality "non-defective" kitchen screw lock strainer and replaced with the cheapest strainer on the market. The 1/2 bath spring pop-up drain "again - not defective" was replaiced with a cheap lever action drain stopper dispite the spring action strainer was working fine and the faucet assembly did not have a lever on the faucet. They did not leave the old drain stoppers so I could replace them. This along with new p-traps added close to $200 to a drain unclogging the bill. Total bill for uncologing kitchen, bath & 1/2 bath sink drain.$328.41. I had recommended Two Men and a Snake in the past but do not recommend. The plumbers must now be working on commission.
I had a clogged kitchen drain in my new home, and this plumber came out to fix it within hours of calling. The issue was resolved quickly at an.
Last Friday I noticed water leaking in my toilet and I figured out it was my flush value on my toilet so I tried to close the water valve and it was frozen so I turned off the water to my house. Ran to Wal-Mart to get a new flush valve and fill valve with other items and went back to try and fix it I finally sprayed the bolts with wd-40 and went to bed. I got up at 6a to try and get the bolts loosen I gave up at 8a. Two Men And a snake was my second call and they answered. She let me know someone could be there between 1p and 2p. I asked if there was an extra charge and she said no since it was during the day. I thought I would see if I could get someone sooner most places were closed or not available until Monday. One company wanted 260 1st hour and 100 every hour after. Another wanted 130 1st hr and then so much for every 15 mins after. I gave up and decided just to wait. I got a call at 906a from Brian and he was on his way I was so happy. He got there by 926a I showed him the toilet signed the released form and he looked at it a little further and advise my toilet was from 1979 yikes I did not know it was that old. So he said he could go pick up a new one from the shop or I could go get one. I took off to home depot to get one and when I got back Brian had fixed my water value and took out the old toilet. He then brought in the new toilet and had it in place within in 15mins the while thing took an hour. That blew mind and then he told me the cost and that really blew my mind. I could very easily gotten charge a huge rate and been taken advantage. All they did was there to help me. I will never call any place but them from now on. Thank you Brian you did a great job!
