Our garage is working as though it was brand new...even though it is the "original" garage door. I have been using Mike Howard Garage Doors for the last 5 years and I couldn't have picked a better Garage Door Company to work with. Steve and Shelby are great to work with. I purchased my custom ordered CHI Carriage House Garage door from them 5 years ago. They had the best and most competitive pricing. Martin did a phenomenal job with the installation as well. He's very meticulous and attentive to detail. He installs doors like he's installing them on his own house. After 5 years, my garage door is holding up superb. No alignment issues, no balance issues and the door is operating just like the day it was installed. It has the cedar wood tone paint on the outside and after 5 years, it hasn't even faded out. It still looks new. Recently, I purchased 2 garage door openers as well. One for my parents house and one for my grandma's house. Steve did an amazing job with the installations. Service was done in a fast and very timely manner as well. I just ordered a new garage door for my grandma's house as well so I am excited for the arrival and installation of that door too. I was referred to this company by our local neighborhood app. I had multiple people suggest this company. I was seeking a second opinion.
I already had another company come out.
Within seconds, this man told me, he couldn't do anything for us. He basically said that we should gut the system we had and replace it with another one that would require us to remodel the garage to accommodate it. In his words, it would "cost us a fortune".
I wanted a second opinion and contacted Mike Howard garage doors. Martin, the service man that came out was optimistic that he could get it fixed. It was more than a reasonable estimate. He was very mindful of his working area. He left the garage more clean than it was when he got there. He went above and beyond and checked the rest of the door even after he already had it fixed. I can't say enough about Martin!! A big huge thank you for your efforts and your integrity!! I could 100% recommend this company!!!

I found Mike Howard Garage on Yelp, and they were great to work with. They came out and assessed my garage door and I totally felt they were honest and trustworthy. We agreed to the work and they came out on the requested day, on time and serviced my garage door with a new opener and some other minor work. Both guys were wonderful to work with and made me at ease with the work being down. I highly recommend Mike Howard and his team of experts! Also I called their office couple of times and was greeted with professionalism and wonderful service. Very Happy Customer!

Stop shopping around. They are the best.
Like you I probably called a bunch of people for estimates. If you really care about having a well installed door, that will last a long time, along with responsive customer service, this is your guy. Most of the other suppliers are doing a volume game and don't care how nice your door will be. Hunt around your neighborhood, find the one you want and Mike will make it happen. Everyone else is trying to push their brand, but while Mike has preferred high quality brands, he will get the one you want at the highest quality and a competitive installation price. He was. Ice enough to walk me through examples at his showroom and even borrow some color samples!!! He warned me of the pitfalls of different brands, he was spot on.
Installation was smooth, and Martin walked me through how to paint and maintain my fancy wood door that I ordered. Wife is impressed and everyone is happy. Go with them and don't look back.

These guys did a first class job with my new garage doors. The estimating process helped me choose exactly what I wanted in terms of doors, openers and equipment to link it to my smart home. Everything was manufactured and delivered exactly as stated. Installation took the expected one day and was done perfectly by folks who clearly knew exactly what they were doing. Oh and the back office is great too in terms of estimates, invoices and payments.
