Our surveyors capture data in the field using state-of-the-art total station and GPS equipment, and are industry leaders in combining data from UAS, mobile LiDAR, terrestrial scanning, and traditional surveying methods to produce accurate and efficient topographic surveys. The end result shows a proposed development site's physical features, such as existing utilities, structures, elevations, drainage patterns, and trees.

Since 2004, Pape-Dawson has managed several teams in production of civil design plans for infrastructure and land development projects within the 3,184-acre Alamo Ranch master plan in northwest Bexar County.

Pape-Dawson planned, designed, and oversaw construction of this 32-mile pipeline, designed to capture sewer flows from surrounding properties and to allow San Antonio Water System to decommission the Lone Star, Pearsall, Fischer Road, and Toyota Plant South lift stations.

Pape-Dawson's environmental services included performing a constraints review of trail and boardwalk/pedestrian bridge designs and construction easement acquisitions. Pape-Dawson collected vegetation data on City of San Antonio-owned property to create a model for determining the presence of suitable golden-cheeked warbler habitat and to assist in developing conservation easements.

Pape-Dawson helped establish a Water Control and Improvement District, and developed HEC-HMS hydrologic models and 1D Unsteady HEC-RAS hydraulic models for this 424-acre, 1,152-lot development near Houston.
