Hanover Land Services, Inc. (HLS) has provided professional land surveying, planning, site and hydrology/hydraulic engineering services in south central Pennsylvania and Maryland for over forty-five years. We continue to provide a client centered service locally, and to better serve our regional clients, now we hold engineering licenses in Delaware, and Virginia.

Worley Surveying was founded in 1969 by Don Worley to provide the professional surveying services needed by municipalities, businesses and individuals in Hanover, PA and surrounding Maryland and Pennsylvania Counties. In 1977 Don purchased the remaining archives of J.H. Rife when Mr. Rife, a Licensed Surveyor and Engineer working in Maryland and Pennsylvania, was ready to retire. Mr. Rife had previously destroyed all files dating before January 1, 1960. HLS still maintains most of the original Rife plan files dating from 1960 as well as all Worley Surveying files.

Hanover Land Services offers construction inspection services - from erosion and sediment control installation to site grading inspections, NPDES mandated inspections and stormwater management inspections - for municipal and private clients, ensuring that materials and construction practices meet the necessary specifications. Hanover Land Services, Inc., a USDA Certified Technical Services Provider, has formed an alliance with AET Agricultural Consultants to serve our Agricultural clients throughout Maryland and Pennsylvania. Our staff of licensed Planners, Engineers and Surveyors, uses time tested knowledge of the local areas along with surveying and site design to serve our Agricultural Clients. We provide site surveys and designs for manure storage facilities and other agricultural operation expansions in a timely and cost effective manner.
