CIDA is a multidisciplinary architecture and engineering design firm established to provide clients with a value driven alternative to the traditional architectural firm. Our design philosophy is founded in the belief that architecture is best when it is a true expression of the people and institutions it serves; we listen to understand. CIDA's industrial portfolio includes flex space, high-tech and light industrial manufacturing, vehicle storage and maintenance, warehouses, and distribution facilities. Truck maneuvering, overall vehicular and pedestrian circulation patterns, efficient use of space and cost effective construction materials are critical in these building types. Our site layouts integrate the critical dimensions to insure trucks can enter, access and exit the facilities safely and efficiently. We focus on each of these critical components throughout each project to develop highly successful industrial facilities.

CIDA's long history of successful commercial development includes low- to mid-rise office buildings, business and mixed use campuses and countless tenant improvements. CIDA's civil experience includes sites in Urban and Rural Communities throughout the Northwest region with a wide range of topographic, infrastructure and regulatory parameters.

CIDA's Architects and Architectural Project Managers lead the design team to develop cost-effective, flexible, and sustainable solutions for a variety of uses. In addition to the traditional role as building designer, CIDA's architectural staff provides site planning and layout concepts as well as project coordination and oversight. Our multidisciplinary approach has given our architects keen insight into site and building issues beyond the purely aesthetic. Our understanding of constructability issues as well as short and long term life cycle costs results in projects that perform both functionally and financially.

CIDA's multidisciplinary team of professionals offers a full range of architectural, structural and civil engineering, and interior design services. In complex projects, with special requirements, we sub-contract with outside experts to provide an integrated team with the appropriate skills to meet the specific needs of each project. CIDA's Structural Engineering staff is adept at providing cost effective structural solutions designed to integrate seamlessly with our architectural design. Our engineers understand complex constructability issues and develop solutions that meet real world conditions. Our structural engineering experience includes a variety of new and retrofit projects throughout the United States, including single and multi-story steel, concrete, masonry and wood structures.
