WW Clyde has a reputation for tackling the toughest construction projects in the roughest conditions. Since 1926, we've been known for our professionalism and integrity as the premier heavy civil contractor in Utah. With cutting-edge construction technology, advanced equipment, and an experienced and professional workforce, we are positioned and ready to take on complex challenges with innovative solutions. We are committed to providing our clients with the best quality of services at the best value.
WW Clyde was founded in Springville, Utah in 1926 by Wilford W. Clyde. Our founder W. W. Clyde valued giving a full honest day's work, taking care of his employees, and producing a high-quality product. We are privately owned, and many of W. W. Clyde's posterity continues to lead the company. With his vision, W.W. Clyde & Co. expanded into the many Clyde Companies existing today - Geneva Rock, Sunroc, Sunpro, and more. We started as a mining and residential builder with teams of horses and fresno scrapers in the early 20th century.
Our portfolio of projects spans across highways, pipelines, bridges, dams, airports, mines, and environmental reclamation projects throughout the Intermountain West. As a dynamic and evolving contractor, we have a broad range of experience in numerous fields of heavy civil construction, including alternative delivery, infrastructure, water, transportation, mining and reclamation, site preparation, and energy. We have a team of experts who specialize in these areas who have dedicated their careers to being best in the field.
Since the 1920's, WW Clyde has been recognized for its work on numerous heavy civil construction projects. From expansive pipeline work to designing and building innovative interstate interchanges, our work is recognized throughout the Intermountain West. We pride ourselves on working on jobs that literally build better communities through improved structures and services. We are proud to uphold a reputation of tackling challenging projects with unmatched dedication to quality. With only the most qualified equipment operators, skilled engineers and experienced project teams, we are proud to bring our heavy civil expertise to your project.
With a nationally recognized team devoted to construction technology, we are constantly adapting the latest tools and techniques for heavy civil projects. Utilizing the latest technology is one of our strengths in creating innovative solutions for our clients. WW Clyde completed UDOT's first paperless delivery project, SR-20, the country's first transportation project built completely from a 3D model. We continue to complete the majority of UDOT's paperless projects today and into the future. We utilize in-house surveying, GPS automated machine guidance on our equipment, and LiDAR scanning to develop innovative solutions on challenging pipeline, bridges, drainage, and other infrastructure projects.
Now, earthwork is our specialty and our number one strength. After a century of experience and with the development of modern technology, we have the capability to move massive amounts of rock and earth. Following the Thistle Landslide in 1983, we played a major part in rescue efforts and rehabilitation of the area. In 2013, we excavated 478,000 cubic yards of rock for the construction of Southern Parkway in St. George, Utah. We are proud to ensure customer satisfaction-no matter the size of the project-with our genuine commitment to quality work and employee safety.
A few of these projects include: Starvation Reservoir Bridge, Legacy Interchange, I-15 South Davis Bridges, Mountain View Corridor, Bangerter Bridge Interchanges, Utah Valley 20 million gallon Water Tank, the Point of the Mountain Water Treatment Plant, and the original and new Beck Street overpass. WW Clyde employs an experienced structural concrete team of experienced professionals who can meet stringent quality standards, tight timelines while maintaining high safety standards. Our diverse set of construction skills and services means that we can handle a variety of project needs and client preferences.
At WW Clyde, we all go home safe. To us, nothing is more important.
