ACS was incorporated in 1994 as Affiliated Construction Services and founded on the proposition that elegant solutions emanate from applying fundamental engineering principles. The company was formed specifically to meet the expressed need for single-source, turnkey delivery of complex projects. The underlying concept was to assure the delivery of specialty equipment and facilities, fully integrated with the building utility systems. What sets us apart is our breadth of knowledge and depth of experience mined from a number of different fields, enabling a diversity of projects such as fabrication and assembly of skidded equipment, custom machines, material handling systems, process automation & controls and test stands used in a wide range of markets including automotive and commercial vehicles, aerospace, research labs and general manufacturing.

While integrated commercial, industrial and manufacturing facilities are complex entities to design and deliver, the ACS Flexible Delivery Model and our deep level of facility development expertise can greatly streamline and simplify the process. Whether our clients choose Engineer - Procure - Construct (EPC), Design/Build, Construction Management at Risk (CMAR) or other project contracting methods, we tailor our services to help improve project quality, minimize costs and accelerate completion.

Installation of custom machines and equipment often involves site preparation, rigging and placement of the new systems, integration with existing systems, and final connections of the utilities. ACS also provides detailed analysis of the existing facility systems (electrical, compressed air, cooling water, etc.) to confirm current capacity is sufficient to support the new machines/equipment. If upgrades are needed, ACS can turn key deliver the design and construction of these new facility systems functioning as the project construction manager.

ACS has a highly qualified staff of engineering and construction specialists with the specific expertise required to provide constructability analysis and Construction Cost Analysis Services. The ability to influence project costs is greatest during planning. Key decisions made early, through an integrated approach, greatly influence the success of the project.
