Central Construction Company was founded in 1974 by our retired President, Carl J. Breitenstein. In 1970, Carl decided to go out on his own and started doing small masonry jobs out of the back of his truck such as chimney repairs and retaining wall work. Word quickly spread about his quality work and that's when he decided to officially start his own company. Carl hired a handful of employees and named his new company, Central Construction, due to its central location in Louisville in the early 70s.
