Over 30 years ago, Scenic Ridge entered the building industry as a steel erector. In the years since then, we have also become experts in steel fabrication. Whether a project involves a pre-engineered building or conventional structural steel, we have a team that is ready to create the right building for our clients. Since opening its doors, Scenic Ridge has erected all types of steel structures, from small mezzanines to numerous three-story buildings. Our projects even include industrial facilities that are 100,000 square feet or larger!
Scenic Ridge's fabrication department is committed to excellence, and conforms to AISC standards. We take great pride in our ability to provide virtually any building solution our clients could need for their building. Having our own metal fabrication shop to supply structural steel or miscellaneous metals needed for a project sets us apart from other builders. Our experienced, certified welders and metal fabricators are trained to provide exemplary quality products, and have the skills to fabricate very complex metal pieces.
When Scenic Ridge began in 1989, we were content with our small facility for the first several years. As the projects and new clients began rolling in, we quickly realized we had to expand. In 2002, we built a 15,000 square foot, two-story shop & office building at 48 Queen Road, Gordonville PA. By 2007, we needed to add a new metal fabrication shop. We built a 12,000 square foot shop, and shortly after we expanded again by another 4,000 square feet. This time we also added a storage mezzanine. In 2010, as we continued to increase our workforce, we made the decision to move our concrete shop to a separate building so that we could expand our office area.
