Brayman is a leading heavy civil and geotechnical contractor with office headquarters in suburban Pittsburgh. Incorporated in 1947, as a family-owned business with a staff of two, Brayman has grown, diversified and evolved its construction services from a small bridge and concrete company to a large, nationally recognized provider of complex, heavy civil construction projects servicing both public and private sector clients. Mechanized demolition is the partial or complete dismantlement of structures using various mechanical and hydraulic machinery. Brayman performs mechanized demolition services for public and private sector clients across an array of marketplaces, including transportation, industrial, gas and energy, hydropower, commercial, and educational project sites. While executing each project in a manner that minimizes environmental impacts, Brayman adheres to all rules and regulations governing the process and actively participates with incorporating the principles of sustainability into projects through recycling and re-use when possible.

Brayman offers diverse steel erection and steel repair capabilities for both public and private sector clients across a range of markets, such as heavy-highway, marine, commercial, and industrial. Services include erection of structural steel beams and girders, structural steel repairs, temporary supports and jacking, shear connector installation, bearing replacement, dam gate repairs, stop log installation as well as conveying systems, and other unique needs. Brayman's heavy-lift experience encompasses the conventional to the complex including strand jacking up to 1200-tons.
