During the preconstruction phase, the construction team is formed, design decisions are made, and a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) is often established. The best opportunity to save time and money is in the preconstruction phase. Wagman is an integral part of the preconstruction team, and can provide a smooth transition from the preconstruction phase to the construction phase of a project. We take the lead on coordinating regularly scheduled preconstruction team meetings, where early clarifications help to facilitate open communication and prevent conflict throughout the duration of the project.
The acquired companies are now operating as Wagman Heavy Civil, Inc. out of their office in Dinwiddie, VA. Wagman Heavy Civil, Inc.'s Virginia operations provide general contracting services to public and private sector clients in the Mid-Atlantic & Southern Regions. The heavy/highway, construction and renovation services utilize a variety of delivery methods including traditional bid, construction management, and design-build.
