Building Performance Specialists has been working with homeowners, builders, architects, and business owners since 2003. For those with existing properties we have extensive experience in diagnosing problems with moisture, indoor air quality, comfort, and efficiency. We also provide services for mold testing, mold remediation, and the retrofit work to resolve those problems in houses and commercial buildings the first time, without guessing.

We take great care to ensure that the insulation products we use are of the highest quality, and are the best fit for our clients for any given project. Whether you are looking for the most environmentally friendly solution -- cellulose insulation made from recycled newspaper, for example -- or the highest R-value, highest performance insulation products on the market like open and closed cell spray foam, we have the products to meet your needs. We offer green remodeling services for homes and businesses throughout the region. If you are interested in reducing your home's carbon footprint and environmental impact, we can help. Green remodeling may involve several home upgrades that we are happy to tailor to your specific goals. While we typically focus on improving energy efficiency, as reducing energy consumption is generally the most significant step one can take towards a reduced environmental impact, we are also happy to work with you towards achieving green building program certifications such as NAHB Green, ENERGY STAR, through other green building improvements.
