This review has been a long time coming. I took my 1985 Toyota Van (which is a nightmare for A/C) to Steve after talking to him on the phone. I actually told him the symptoms and he pretty much hit the nail on the head without even checking it out.
He did a full A/C system check, and was more than happy to teach me as he was going. At first he thought it was a bad evaporator, but humbly corrected himself when it was a faulty heater valve. He showed me a couple places that were leaking as well. I told him I personally wanted to work on whatever part I could in the process. Once he diagnosed the problems, he walked me through everything I needed to do so I could actually do the work. Once the work was done I took the van back to him, he filled it up, and I was on my way. That was about 2 years ago. My A/C was as cold as ice. Though I sold it not too long ago it was still as cold as ice.
My only reservation about Steve was his "Hawaii" joke. He kept saying "send me to Hawaii, not Mexico" when he was checking my car. Besides that, Steve was honest and willing to teach me anything through the process.

Late post took my SUV here last year to get my accumulator fixed all he did was cut it with a saw an charge me $50. And told me if I can twist the screw to take it back.. Know cause of the half ass job he did I'm in it too fix the whole evaporator core at a cost of a grand n +++..took it to another shop they told me that he cut the accumulator straight to the evaporator core.don't waste your time in this place

Too Much:
Too Early ,work done too quickly and not too expensive-Call the night before. Opened at 7 AM(can you believe it!!) Was to work by 8:15 and satisfied .TOO Much- There are people who like to satisfy the Client.

I was referred to Steve, the owner, of D and S by a friend who had AC work done here. My friend was very happy with the service and attention to detail from the shop. I took my Ford F 250 in for a check up because I noticed at times it wasn't blowing cold. Steve checked it out, found a couple problems and fixed them. I'm very pleased with the work done and would recommend the shop to anyone. This is l like 2 reviews because my friend was very happy as well.
