If you're lucky enough to have power (and without heat) try reseting the furnace or AHU breaker or power switch in closet or attic. (NOT THE AC BREAKER). Then pull/replace your air filter. Clean the snow off our outdoor unit if you have a heat pump. It's normal to see steam arising outside and the fan stopped.
