Hursh Painting Company, Inc. got its start in 1979 when founder Morris Hursh decided to put his skills and years of experience with a large painting contractor in Lancaster to work in his own business. Phil Hursh, son of Morris and Ruth Ann, has been an integral part of the business and became president of our company in 1999. Growing from three employees when Morris founded our company to nearly 40 today, Hursh Painting has built a reputation of quality work, care for our customers, and emphasis on safety.

The safety of our customers and our employees couldn't be more important to us. At Hursh Painting Company, we have a Director of Safety on staff who leads our state-certified workplace safety committee and ensures we meet all OSHA compliance requirements. In our efforts to maintain a high level of safety at all locations, our field supervisors, foremen and select others have successfully completed OSHA's 10-hour class; two of our staff have completed OSHA's 30-hour class as well. Our safety committee meets every month to discuss new developments on the safety front and address any potential safety concerns on current and upcoming projects.
