A Cut Above

We are a lawn & landscaping firm specializing in residential lawn mowing, lawn fertilization, and landscape cleanups. Our programs are designed to beautify residential properties both small and large, including local HOA communities. We also provide snow removal services for local government and commercial properties.

The program consists of 6 annual visits and includes our soil amendment applications, fertilizer, weed control, and fall aeration/seeding (with fall visit). The cornerstone of our program is the two annual soil amendment applications. It's a super vitam booster that's designed to strengthen overall soil conditions, leading to a flush lawn. It's completely natural and organic too! We believe that you can't create a healthy lawn by spraying lots of herbicides/pesticides on top of the grass. That's why we've created a balanced program that will fix the soil conditions beneath the turf over time, leading to that A Cut Above turf look.

For our existing annual maintenance program customers, A Cut Above offers high quality landscaping plant installations at affordable prices. Over the years we've built great relationships with our suppliers which allows us to secure great pricing on our high quality plants. We then pass those savings directly through to our clients. Most importantly, our crews are experienced in creating high quality landscapes. We make it easy, from consultation to final walk-through. During the late fall and early winter months, A Cut Above begins its annual Leaf Removal Service. Local lawns are completely covered with leaves by the middle of November and our crews will handle leaves in a breeze! Professional leaf removal starts with having powerful equipment, and each crew member has a commercial grade leaf blower (We even use walk-behind leaf blowers!). Our team works together in getting the debris off of the lawn and into our leaf vacuum. The vacuum sucks up the leaves into the rear of our dump truck.

The Cleanup Program keeps the mulch beds looking A Cut Above all year long. This approach will not only keep your mulch and flower beds looking better, it will keep them healthier and save a lot of money compared to doing 2-3 separate cleanups. One time cleanups have a larger cost due to the overgrowth, which can be avoided with our program. You'll end up spending a lot less in the long run! The Deluxe Program is designed to keep your property looking A Cut Above throughout the entire year. The program includes the standard spring, fall, and winter cleanups, plus six landscaping maintenance visits in-between the spring and fall cleanups.

The Mowing Program covers you for the entire mowing season, no matter how many times we cut. We mow every 7-10 days during the growing seasons and every 10-14 days during the slow growth seasons. The weather is different each year and it's tough to guess how many times we'll be out. It's to guarantee that you're covered for the entire season and won't have to worry about exactly how many times we come out. Your rate is the same no matter what, which makes it easier for budgeting purposes. Please note that we need a 5 day notice in advance, and the turf must be at least 2.5 long, if you have a special request for any additional mowing visits outside of our regular schedule (upcoming party, event, etc.).
