I pride myself on doing great wood floors, in a timely manner, at a very reasonable price. I use top-quality sanding machines, abrasives, and finishes. I use dust containment at every stage. I don't cut corners. I will treat your home like it is my own, work will be done on-time and on-schedule, and I will leave it cleaner than I found it. I have a meticulous attention to detail, providing high quality workmanship, and a committment to your satisfaction.
While I have specialized in wood floors, I am also an experienced carpenter who has done everything from custom short-run reproduction trim to built-ins and cabinetry and everything in between. I have a full woodshop including a table saw with powerfeed, powerfed 3hp shaper, powerfed 8" jointer with spiral head, 7hp spiral head planer, and 5hp molding machine, 3hp drum sander, bandsaw with 13" resaw, small CNC milling machine, track saw, etc. If it is made out of wood, I can make it. I can make just about any trim you may need to match your existing trim.
Installing new wood floors in your home is a big decision, as they should be the last floor covering you will ever need. You are going to be looking at your floors for many years to come. You want the work to be done by someone who cares about your floor just as much as you do. If you want your floor to last, it has to be installed correctly. I go the extra mile to make sure your house is adequately prepared for hardwood installation. The wood being installed must be properly acclimated to our climate.
I really love wood floors and it is very satisfying to bring an old, classic floor back to life. Through the years they may have had carpet stapled down, vinyl glued down, or paint applied, but with some hard work by a seasoned professional, your floor can be brought back to its beautiful, original luster.
