For over 25 years I have been in the landscape and construction industry, always aspiring to provide a positive customer experience and a well-crafted product. Initially, I began as an apprentice with several different landscape and construction design/build firms. From that experience, I quickly realized that building gardens was the best of all worlds; the convergence of design, building, plants and people. I knew then that I wanted to have my own business in the landscape industry. While apprenticing, I also participated in classes in landscape architecture and horticulture, which lead to passing the landscape contractor's exam in 1990 and the general building contractor's exam in 1999.

The builder, Lawrence Construction, selected Doug Fir beams salvaged from an old city hall building. Instead of going to the landfill, these 6-by-6 inch beams were planed, jointed, sanded, and turned into something beautiful. This Master Suite features a master bedroom and master bath. A walk-in closet and powder room is housed in a mahogany box separating the bedroom from the bath. All wood work was created in our custom wood shop. We built this home from the ground up, using a wide range of sustainable products and green technologies.
