Once the floor is down to bare wood, Old To Gold will apply 3 layers of Industrial strength, Fast Drying, Eco-Friendly, Water Borne Finish to your floor giving it both durability and elegant shine!
We aggressively sand away and remove the old finish, scratches, gouges and imperfections in the wood. We are also level the floor by sanding deep enough into the wood to literally create a new wood layer. Now that the wood is sanded, the world is yours. You can stain the wood any color you'd like or go natural by applying a water or oil based sealer and finish directly on the floor. Looking through our website will give you a decent idea of what natural and stained floors look like. The majority of the floors you see here were finished with the natural color of the wood.

I cannot recommend this company enough! 🙌🏻 We recently bought a 1924 home with white oak floors that the previous owners had very haphazardly refinished and stained with a super dark color. We wanted to bring back the natural beauty of these floors, so we called Old to Gold. Everyone was incredibly friendly and professional. We had several hiccups along the way (we were in the middle of selling our other house), but Matt was so kind and worked with us to make everything possible 😊 Weslee, Leo, and Nate did an amazing job sanding and refinishing the floors (a special shoutout to Weslee for sending update photos and videos of the process!). We are thrilled with the finished product and gush about it to all our friends and family ❤️ A huge thank-you to everyone at Old to Gold!

Can't believe the difference between the initial consult with Old to Gold vs the other two vendors I brought in for a quote. Rowdy was professional but friendly, introduced aspects of the project I hadn't considerd, and educated me thoroughly. The quote was very detailed, and the price was inline with the other two vendors. Nate and Leo were the technicians who performed the work, and I say "technicians" not workers, because they attacked it with technical precision and care - true professionals. They communicated with me and updated me each step of the way. In the end, the floors look FANTASTIC! THANK YOU!

Our American Cherrywood floors in our kitchen, dining room, entryway and small bath were showing a lot of wear. The first photo showed some particular wear in the dinette. We had contacted a company called Old To Gold and we are over the moon with the job they did of sanding and refinishing them. Big savings over replacing them and they look brand new! We really appreciated the team at Old To Gold. Whenever we had any questions or concerns they were ready to help and make sure that we were happy with the way the floors turned out. And man did it turn out well! Weslee was the one that did all of the refinishing and was detailed and hardworking. So happy to have pretty floors! When we bought our first home we tried to refinish our downstairs hardwood floors by ourselves and boy did that turn into a disaster. We called around for a few quotes and Old to Gold was the best priced and quickest to respond. Rowdy was also very kind about the work we had already done and was quick to let us know we didn't cause any permanent damage they couldn't fix. Wow what a difference a professional makes! The floors look beautiful. I was concerned about some rather large water stains but they removed them with ease, can't even tell they were there. A few years later we are using them again for our upstairs hardwoods. They are still just as kind and professional as before and we are very happy to be working with them.

The Old to Gold team did a fantastic job with our floors! We decided to work with them based on recommendations from a couple friends and their fair pricing - and we are so happy we did. We have a 1920s home and they brought the hardwood back to life, it looks beautiful. Old to Gold was easy to work with, professional, and timely. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Old to Gold came to our house to redo our living room floor. I couldn't be happier, nor would I recommend anyone but this company if you want great looking floors. Rowdy, Matt, Leo, and Nathan were FABULOUS. They are experts, professional, very customer service oriented, had great communication throughout the process, fair pricing, and they make the impossible possible. Definitely give them a call!
