In 1960, three brothers started the business. Today Baird Brothers is truly a family business as the children have followed in their footsteps and are active in the business as well. Baird Brothers continues to grow in size each year in order to meet the demands of our customers. We manufacture and retail high quality hardwood products including; mouldings, flooring, doors, stair parts, butcher blocks, mantels, S4S lumber, plywood, and many other products. If you have a special profile, we are also capable of milling your custom profile.

Baird Brothers quality solid hardwood floors are precision milled because we know that you are making an investment to last a lifetime (or two). Our hardwood floors are available in every domestic specie, including Red Oak, White Oak, Hard Maple, Hickory, Cherry, Ash, Walnut, Quartersawn Red or White Oak, and tropical species like Brazilian Cherry (Jatoba). Most of our solid wood floors come in both a clear select grade which is free of knots and defects, or a 'rustic' character grade/cabin grade flooring that has small knots and other natural defects.

Nothing adds warmth and comfort to your home like a flickering fire surrounded by an elegantly handcrafted mantle. The time and attention that we devote to the detail of each project is revealed by the mantle surround that will highlight your room's decor. Our custom mantles are constructed of carefully selected prime Appalachian hardwoods, and are designed for ease of assembly and installation. We strive to provide homeowners and builders with a source for custom designed and handcrafted mantles that are distinctive for both beauty and quality.

Baird Brothers premium hardwood mouldings are stocked in Poplar, Red Oak, Maple, Cherry, and F/J Primed Poplar. We can pre-finish your hardwood mouldings with a clear finish or you can choose one of Baird Brothers ten stain colors. Custom hardwood moulding profiles and species such as White Oak, Brazilian Cherry, Quarter Sawn Red Oak, Quarter Sawn White Oak, Mahogany, Alder, Cedar and more are available special order.
