Seneca Millwork is a family-owned company and has been manufacturing quality hardwood products in Fostoria, Ohio since 1873. The name has changed several times over the years along with the products made, but they have always been related to wood. Some of the items produced included flour barrels, fireplace mantles, ammunition boxes during war efforts, parts for children's sleds and wagons, general building materials, and custom stairways. In 1996, we relocated to our current facility at 300 Court Place.
Seneca Millwork stocks a wide selection of wood species and is skilled at sourcing wood globally. Exotic woods are subject to availability. Many times domestic species can be matched to exotic flooring. At Seneca, we work together with our customers to ensure our transitions are the perfect accessory to their flooring selection. We utilize an exclusive ColorMaster System to meet customers specifications, and have more than 8,000 existing ColorMasters on file for many popular hardwood flooring brands and colors.
Combining quality, experience and the finest materials, Seneca's SignatureEdge hardwood stair treads are unmatched in the industry. The treads are available in variety of styles, species and finishes. Visually, our treads are unique with solid edge-glued construction with only two to three glue lines per tread. For a personalized design style-choose from five stair tread edge options from the SignatureEdge design collection. We offer a complete selection of tread options and five different SignatureEdge styles.
Seneca Millwork routinely makes custom shapes if a customer does not see the profile wanted among Seneca's standard selections. We fabricate custom tooling and can match or create profiles as needed. Typically a quantity order is required for custom tooling.
