Gorsegner Brothers Hardwood Floors was founded in 1951 by John Gorsegner, Sr. and was called at that point simply, "John Gorsegner Hardwood Floors." The company was started with a simple aim: to provide quality hardwood flooring at decent prices and help people maintain the look of their floors for years to come. John emphasized hard work and customer service and both of those legacies remain with the company today. In the 1960's John's two sons, John and Fred began working with their father and eventually took over the business that he started.

Our installation process is beyond that of your average hardwood floor company. We begin the process by reviewing your moisture and humidity levels. Next, we re-screw your existing plywood sub floor. We use a vapor barrier paper called Vapor Shield as opposed to your average rosen paper. We use the appropriate cleat, as opposed to ordinary staples as recommended by the manufacturer.
