Heritage Contract Flooring is a relatively new company, but our roots and experience go back many years. Founded in 1916 as Vulcan Asphalt Co. Inc., the company and its successors have been active in the business of furnishing and installing flooring materials ever since. We specialize in carpet, resilient flooring, resinous flooring (epoxy), VCT, sheet vinyl, linoleum floors, etc. In 1960, Vulcan Asphalt changed its name to Vulcan Floors, Inc. to better reflect our business. Vulcan did literally thousands of flooring jobs through the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s.
