For more than half a century Hascall & Hall has delivered state-of-the-art commercial flooring solutions to clients throughout the Northeast. While the technology has evolved dramatically over the years, the secret to providing the right commercial flooring options has remained constant-an understanding of the client's needs and environment, coupled with breadth of experience and in-depth product knowledge. In bringing over 200 years' combined experience to any challenge facing you, the Hascall & Hall team recognizes that the functionality of the flooring plan we provide is the most important of any complex set of variables involved.
Hascall & Hall has been in the masonry contractor business since 1948, restoring some of New England's finest and most historical buildings. With over 200 years of combined masonry experience, we know how to do masonry work-breathing new life into damaged masonry and restoring a brick masonry or stone masonry building to its halcyon days. Applying time-honored principles and leading-edge technologies, we replace old decayed mortar and brick with the new-but with the wisdom not to over-build the repair.
Polishing concrete can be assimilated to the work of a fine master carpenter, polishing the wood on a finished masterpiece, or to that of an artist carefully placing their final brush strokes-honing their piece of art until it is a thing of beauty. That being said, why choose polished concrete over other types of flooring and surfacing options-especially when there are so many to choose from? The following is an overview of the benefits to be gained from polished concrete floors and surfaces, and some answers as to why these qualities could make polished concrete the right solution for your environment.
Given Hascall & Hall's competency in masonry restoration, it was only natural that we'd develop a parallel proficiency in concrete repair. From pouring new columns at the summit of Mt. Washington to creating rubber molds for restoring intricate figurines on an old faade, working in concrete is a logical extension of our mastery of masonry, and a medium with which we're equally adept. At Hascall & Hall we continually expand our knowledge and acquire new systems and technologies for putting the faces back on your buildings.
Whenever I'm asked to retell the story of Hascall & Hall, how I came to work here then later on to become the company's owner, I always like to start at the beginning: In 1948, Arthur Hall and Bruce Hascall became partners in amasonry restorationand waterproofing company when they landed their first big job-cleaning the Union Station building in Portland, Maine. Fresh out of college the energetic young entrepreneurs washed and scrubbed each of the building's stones by hand. From that day forward, I'd like to believe we have consistently served our every project with the same hands-on, individualized approach.
