Bostwick Construction and Millwork has been serving Southern Oregon since 1962. It began with cabinetmaker Everett Bostwick. He and Jimmie Fae Bostwick's work ethic, integrity and tireless push for high quality established their excellent reputation in the high-end custom home market. Everett's workmanship and dependability was recognized and rewarded as "Builder of the Year for Jackson County, " and served five terms as president of the Oregon Home Builders Association. Everett's son Matt Bostwick started in the cabinet shop at age twelve, working summers through high-school and college.
In the cabinet and millwork shop at Bostwick Construction, we are a one stop shop. We are happy to design, build and install anything from the smallest bathroom vanity to refitting an antique window, milling reclaimed beams or even custom made original furniture. Bostwick Construction and Millwork can serve you. We procure and work with many types of wood from recycled lumber to exotic hardwoods and back again to eco-friendly products, like paper stone. Our shop staff, headed by foreman Matt Van Sickle, is highly skilled, with years of experience yet youthful enthusiasm and drive, always pushing for perfection in the details and service.
All of the timbers, purlins, ceilings and siding were reclaimed from a mill located in Oregon's high desert just outside of Burns. The mill stood 80 years while these gorgeous Douglas fir timbers slowly dried to perfection. Most of the lumber was used in its natural condition to provide the authentic rustic patina effect. Only structural timbers were resawn and graded to meet specifications.
