Foster Fence offers several different slide gate designs, nearly all of which can be operated manually or by an automatic gate operator. Cantilever slide gates are recommended when you want a gate to span an existing dirt or asphalt driveway. We use heavy-duty gate rollers made of graphite-impregnated nylon with permanently lubricated and sealed ball bearings that allow the gate to be moved with 60% less effort than a gate with cast-iron rollers. Cantilever slide gates do not use a ground track and can be installed over any surface.
