Live By The Sword! Children and teens can have all A's and perfect test scores, but if they do not have emotional control and the mental strength to take risks, what good will it do? The Olympic sport of fencing is a fun, engaging way for kids to develop Emotional Resilience, the ability to stand on their own two feet and handle whatever difficulties life may throw at them. Many kids start giving up on traditional sports ages 10 to 14, but this is when most fencers get their start. Fencing offers a way for kids to get tough and motivated to win, while being good sports and forgiving of themselves and others.

My 7yr old absolutely loves fencing class on Saturday mornings.
MDFC is an awesome club! My son has been attending for over a year and I have never seen him so excited about a sport prior to joining the club. Great.
Coach Paye and Coach Murray have helped me rediscover fencing after a 30 plus year absence from the sport. The other fencers in the club are wonderful.
In honor of the success and contributions of amazing women who have made history ... #InternationalWo mensDay
