Economy Pest Control does not require a signed contract, unlike many of our competitors. We want our customers to be loyal and return to us because they are happy with our service and the results of our pest control, not because they are tied to a long-term contract. Since 1974, Economy Pest Control has been serving the communities in Nevada County and Placer County. To successfully manage your pests, we take a consultative approach. That means we use the right tool for each job, based on the situation.

Paul Davidson started Economy Pest Control in March of 1974. He built his reputation on providing quality service for each of his customers. The word spread quickly and the company has grown to become one of the most trusted pest control companies in Nevada and South Placer counties. Paul and his wife, Laverne, retired in 1993 and the third-generation family owned business continues to grow and remain successful. Paul's son and daughter-in-law worked hard and now Paul's grandsons and granddaughter continue the family business, where the customer experience is still our main priority and number one goal.

Western subterranean termites cause serious problems in, you guessed it, the western area of North America, which of course means California. These pests are "in plague" in parts of central and southern California. These termites are highly destructive to most woods that are used in construction. They rapidly feed on structural timbers from the inside out, which will obviously cause breakage and ruin the integrity of that piece. You can tell a subterranean termite by the honey-comb shell it leaves behind, packed with partially digested wood and excretions.

There's talk that cockroaches can survive a nuclear blast. We'll never truly know the truth about that, but we here at Economy Pest Control do know, for a fact, that we can help you with your cockroach problem, and that with our cockroach control and prevention methods, you won't be worried about those scurrying buggers for long. Cockroaches are a serious health risk to the locations that they invade. They usually transmit pathogens by contaminating food, utensils and the food preparing area. Roaches can also cause sensitive people to have allergic reactions.
