One of things I find most impressive about Debug Pest Control is their willingness to help us prevent problems first. Bill and his team make it clear that are not just here to eliminate the problem today, but to help us and educate us so that we can reduce future issues. As a busy property manager, having relationships with vendors I can rely on is critical. Whenever the phone rings and it's a call about a pest control issue at one of the properties where they work, I know from long experience that whatever the issue, Degug will follow up promptly, thoroughly, and professionally.
Today, the company is owned by his son, Bill Horgan, and his wife, Trish. Debug has twelve technicians, a dozen trucks, and a wide range of equipment and support staff. Our equipment and methods are the most innovative and effective tools available in the pest control industry. We are problem-solvers. We know every pest control issue is different and varied.
Mosquito bites can be dangerous and sometimes deadly. An average mosquito bite is a nuisance: red, raised, and itchy. But, when diseases like EEE, Zika, and West Nile virus are around, that bite becomes deadly. And if you have pets, a mosquito bite can bring heartworm. Mosquitoes are drawn to standing water. Female mosquitoes must lay their eggs in water, so they seek these places out. Birdbaths, dog bowls, clogged drains, and naturally-occurring low areas where water pools are some of the places you'll find mosquitoes.

Mice typically only bite if they are cornered. Their greater danger lies in their chewing. Mice teeth are constantly growing and mice need to continuously chew to keep their teeth from getting too long. In the wild, this means they chew on branches and twigs. In your home? They're chewing on electrical wires and that can result in a house fire. Mice are also potential carriers of disease. House mice can live up to two years. One female can have 90 offspring in her lifetime, so the potential for a major infestation is high.
The bed bugs in your home most likely came from your luggage, on some used furniture, or on your clothes. You can encounter bed bugs while riding in airplanes, taking a cab, in motels and in thrift shops. Bed bugs are not a sanitation issue; you can just as easily get bed bugs at a five-star hotel as you can from a budget motel. Getting rid of bed bugs is tough. Off the shelf chemicals and treatments are dangerous when not handled properly, and can endanger your family and pets. Don't try to DIY bed bugs.

Termites are responsible for an estimated $5 billion of damage every year in the United States and more than 5 million homes have some type of termite problem. Because termite damage is not typically covered by insurance, repairs can be costly. Termites live in underground colonies, tunneling undetected through the soil into a structure. Because of their subterranean nature, an infestation may go undetected for some time. Debug uses the Sentricon Termite Colony Elimination System as our preferred termite solution.
Termites are small insects that feed on wood and paper. In New England, the termite you're most likely to encounter is the eastern subterranean termite. Termite colonies are made up of two types of termites: worker termites and swarming termites. Worker termites are small, white, and about long. Swarming termites, or "flying termites" are black, have wings, and are about " long. Swarming termites have two sets of wings, all the same length. Termites do not bite or sting humans or animals. Their real danger lies in their ability to destroy the structure and integrity of homes and buildings.
