Our patented duct restoration is non-invasive and eliminates the need to cut up the foundation of your home. Remodeling of the interior or the relocation of air ducts into the attic is not necessary with our solution. All of the work can be done while you are in the home. Typically, the entire process takes only a few hours, depending on the size of your home. You will be able to turn on your heat or air conditioning, as soon as we are done coating the ductwork. Our coating material is a proprietary water-based latex material that contains zinc.

Many overhead and in-ground commercial ductwork systems have fiberglass or asbestos lined sheet metal ducting. The liner is glued to the sheet metal at the factory and is next to impossible to remove. When the liner breaks down, fine particles of fiberglass or asbestos are disbursed throughout the air stream. This can cause serious health issues to employees. Coating the inner liner on Duct Board will halt these fibers from being released into the air system. The coating can be done without deconstruction of the ceilings and walls and we have successfully completed many jobs for the private commercial sector, schools, as well as military and government buildings.

Many homes have both overhead and in ground ductwork containing asbestos. Duct Armor has been rigorously tested and is compliant under the EPA standards for asbestos encapsulation. This means you don't have to have the asbestos ductwork removed, but instead can have it safely encapsulated saving thousands of dollars. Many older homes have formed fiberglass ductwork between floors and inside walls. Over time, the fiberglass deteriorates and causes a severe health hazard by releasing these fibers into your air stream and your family's lungs.
