At Tuxis-Ohr's we believe it is our responsibility to keep you informed about energy use. We are here to work with you on conservation and help in controlling heating costs by providing quality oil, heating services and energy efficient equipment. Tuxis Ohr's Fuel is a wholesale supplier of distillate petroleum products to resellers.

In 1979, Ohr's Fuel was purchased by James Vitali from it's original founder and friend, Andy Ohr. Through a marriage of Tuxis Coal & Oil of Meriden and Ohr's Fuel of Wallingford in 1984, Tuxis-Ohr's Fuel was born. Tuxis-Ohr's operates four distinct product lines; home heating fuel, service of heating and air conditioning, equipment installs and commercial fuels. Recently we have added Nelson Oil of Haddam and Edward S. Mull of Meriden, to our family. With over 5,000 customers and strong presence in Middlesex and New Haven counties, Tuxis-Ohr's continues to excel in customer retention and satisfaction for over 30 years.

Our installation technicians are highly trained, licensed, and have years of experience behind them to install your system the right way - making sure the unit operates reliably and safely providing you the peace of mind of a professional job done well.

Tuxis-Ohr's heating oil is blended with an oil additive of detergent biocides and performance enhancers to provide the most efficient, cleanest burn possible, to maximize your burner efficiency and eliminate system failures. Tuxis Ohr's service department has a team of fully trained, Connecticut State licensed technicians ready to respond 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; including nights, weekends and holidays. Unexpected equipment and system problems can happen at any time and sometimes at the worst times. Our service team is large enough to offer round-the clock coverage, if you have a heating emergency in the middle of the night, we will have a serviceman in his van ready to come to your home.
