The HVAC Program prepares graduates with the theory and working knowledge in HVAC/R Installation, Maintenance and Service. The Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technician program is recognized by the Air Conditioning Contractors of America, St. Louis Chapter and the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Apprenticeship. In conclusion, the school is qualified to provide related instruction for their registered apprenticeship programs. The 10 week refrigeration term focuses on swaging, brazing, flaring, the refrigeration cycle, recovery, refrigerants, evacuations, and charging systems as it applies to the industry.
Our hands-on training program is designed to prepare graduates with the theory and working knowledge in Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair to go into the field at an entry level position. The 10 week DC Electricity term covers Ohm's Law as applied to DC circuits, electromotive force, resistance, electrical power equations, electrical safety, and troubleshooting techniques. The 10 week Low Voltage Applications term covers home security systems, smart home devices, power over Ethernet, coaxial cable, video surveillance, and fire alarm systems and batteries.
I had a great time learning the HVAC trade here the instructors are awsome, it's easy to learn here if you put forth the effort, hard work and they will in return have you repairing and servicing units in under 2 years.
