Service Mechanical Industries was created in 1992 when Don Olsen purchased the commercial HVAC service and construction division from JWP Corporation (Jamaica Water and Power, Jamaica, N.Y.). JWP was a consolidator that purchased HVAC and electrical contractors in the 1980's. They had a local office in Oak Brook, IL. Service Mechanical Industries opened their first office in Northbrook, IL. In 1995, Bob Cesario joined Service Mechanical as a partner. Don and Bob have grown the company into a reputable service and design/build firm serving the entire Chicagoland area.
