Adolphus Mayes, our Founder - had over 55 years in mechanical insulation installation. He began in 1954 as a field apprentice and went on to become a journeyman and then field superintendent. He became the branch manager for the then multi-location Breeding Insulation Corporation in 1977. In 1984 he was able to purchase the Knoxville office branch. It was his honesty and vision for quality workmanship with his customers that has carried Breeding Insulation Knoxville to its current success, and will continue to guide the company in the future.
