We provide infrastructure and construction management services to a variety of clients requiring the highest level of guaranteed mechanical system quality, performance, and reliability. We offer a comprehensive range of industrial construction services, including mechanical engineering, process piping design, plant construction, industrial facilities and construction management services, and HVAC systems and piping.
We are proud of Bahnson's 100+ year history as a mechanical engineering contractor. The Bahnson family began by selling industrial humidifiers to the textile industry in 1915, and steadily grew the company through the middle of the century. In the 1970s and '80s, they were a major supplier of air conditioning systems to the utility industry including nuclear power plants. As the 1900s became the 2000s, the company continued to thrive under Swedish and Swiss ownership with offerings in cleanroom technology and the industrial HVAC market.
Construction management operations have been a vital part of Bahnson's core business for more than 50 years. In addition to being a mechanical construction company that employs highly skilled craftsman and a talented construction management team, we are well versed in the knowledge of regulatory restrictions and labor law around the country. It is our standard operation to execute all construction services projects using techniques, control systems, and work processes which will provide optimal results in regards to safety, cost, quality, and schedule for our clients.
Through our Environmental Specialties business unit in Raleigh, NC, we design and fabricate a diverse product line of controlled environment chambers that create a precise environment for clients' research, development, and manufacturing processes. Through our Intermech business unit, we provide mechanical pipe fabrication services, including hygienic and high purity piping, stainless steel piping, industrial piping systems, process piping, carbon steel piping, custom fabrication and fabrication solutions, mechanical equipment skids, and other special code fabrications requiring implementation of our NQA-1 QA program or within the guidelines of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
